HMS VICTORY  1/1200 scale by Langton miniatures

The  Langton miniatures kit has excellent detail for this size! The hull comes in two metal pieces as and the masts. The sails and the ratlines comes in photo etch. The model and the sea has painted using Vallejo acrylics.

HP Models Batttleship Gneisenau, after rebuilt project  1/700.

A very nice kit for a project that never built. The Gneisenau was seriously damaged the night of 26-27/2/1942 in Kiel from a RAF bomb attack. The German Navy had decided to rebuilt and reconstruct the ship. But the Gneisenau decommissioned at 1/7/1942.

The HP resin model kit is a very nice kit. It has fine casting and very sharp detail! The 38 cm turrets have metal barrels. However we used Flagship metal masts,PE antennas from Toms modelworks and other PE parts like 20 mm from Fine molds. A three grey camouflage was selected using as usual Vallejo acrylics.
